The vintage tables of the 1950s, 60s and 70s were freed from the constraints imposed by pre-war decorative styles. Production methods were simplified and metal structures appeared, combined with wood species adapted to mass production. Particularly creative, designers in the second half of the 20th century vied with each other in imagination and created tables of all shapes and sizes. Dining tables, coffee tables, nesting tables, bedside tables, pedestal tables, consoles... Some of their creations have become icons of modern design.
