The enfilade is an innovation in post-war furniture. Offering great storage capacity, it replaces the traditional sideboard to serve as a console or TV cabinet. Emblems of vintage enfilades, the models of the great Scandinavian designers such as Hans Wegner, Grete Jalk, Peter Hvidt or Børge Mogensen are pure, with rectilinear forms, alternating swinging or sliding doors and drawers in perfect harmony. Equally modern and elegant, the pieces by French designers(Pierre Guariche, Alain Richard, Charlotte Perriand, Gérard Guermonprez...) are also of great sobriety and are always much sought after by collectors. These exceptional vintage pieces are restored if necessary by an art cabinetmaker in the respect of the original creations.
